Texas Instruments: 21% drop in quarterly EPS
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, Texas Instruments reported a 21% drop in EPS to $1.
47 for its third quarter 2024, inflated by three cents due to an exceptional item that was not anticipated in its target range of $1.24 to $1.48.
At $4.15 billion, revenues were down 8% year-on-year, but up 9% sequentially, with a decline in industrial more than offset by gains in all other end-markets.
For its fourth quarter 2024, the Dallas-based semiconductor manufacturer says it expects sales of between $3.70 and $4 billion, and EPS of between $1.07 and $1.29.
