Thales: 9m sales up over 9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced sales of E14.
07bn for the first nine months of 2024, up 9.4% overall and 6.2% LFL, with organic growth notably driven by the defense and security sector (+8.5%).

At E15.55bn, order intake rose by 26% overall and 23% organically, as the group benefited from an excellent sales dynamic, particularly in defense and security, which enjoy unrivalled visibility.

Avionics was buoyed by the upturn in air traffic and solid growth prospects. As for the cybersecurity and biometrics activities, they are benefiting from a dynamic environment, management adds.

Thales confirms its targets for 2024, i.e. a book-to-bill ratio exceeding one, organic sales growth of +5% to +6%, and an EBIT margin of 11.7% to 11.8%.
