GSK: collaboration with Cambridge University

(CercleFinance.com) - GSK and the University of Cambridge announce a new five-year collaboration in the field of kidney and respiratory diseases.


GSK is to invest £50m in a major new five-year collaboration with the University of Cambridge and Cambridge University Hospitals, to accelerate R&D in immune-related diseases.

This collaboration will enable immune-related diseases to be treated more precisely with existing therapies, as well as developing new ones more rapidly.

GSK said that by bringing together Cambridge's expertise and its own in-house capabilities, including understanding the immune system and using AI to accelerate drug development, we have the opportunity to help patients with complex diseases.
