Nokia: management team shakeup

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces changes to its management team, including a division of its Corporate Affairs function into two distinct functions: Geopolitics and Government Relations on the one hand, and Communications on the other.


These two new functions will be headed respectively by Mikko Hautala, former Finnish ambassador to the USA, and Louise Fisk, who will both become members of the Finnish telecoms equipment manufacturer's management team.

In addition, Melissa Schoeb and Jenni Lukander, respectively Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and President of the Nokia Technologies business group, have decided to leave the company and therefore to step down from the management team.

As part of the new configuration, Nokia's Sustainability team, previously part of the Corporate Affairs function, will report to the General Counsel, Esa Niinimäki, with immediate effect.
