Teleperformance: climate targets validated by SBTi

(CercleFinance.com) - Teleperformance has announced the approval by the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) of its new short-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets to limit global temperature rise to 1.
5°C above pre-industrial levels.

The contact center group thus aims to reduce its absolute emissions from scopes 1 and 2 by 56.7%, and its absolute emissions from scope 3 by 27.5%, by 2030, compared with the 2019 reference year.

This strategy is based on reducing energy consumption, increasing the use of renewable energies, reducing waste and applying green building standards. It also aims to support its customers in their transition.
