Thales: flight testing of drone swarms with AI

At the Contact Drone Swarm Demonstration Day (JDEC), Thales and its partners unveiled their latest advances aimed at providing answers to these constraints to enable swarm (fleet) operations adapted to military needs. At the heart of the event: the COHESION demonstrator of the Thales swarm solution, which achieves an unprecedented level of autonomy thanks to AI and the use of intelligent agents, the group says.

To meet the needs of the armed forces, Thales offers an innovative AI-based system architecture, providing UAV swarms with an unrivalled level of supervised autonomy, enabling them to adapt to fluctuating operational requirements, Thales adds.
