Schneider Electric: agreement to acquire Motivair

(CercleFinance.com) - Schneider Electric announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Motivair, a US specialist in liquid cooling and advanced thermal management solutions for high-performance computing systems.


This initial 75% stake will be acquired in a cash transaction worth $850 million, which values this company of over 150 employees at a mid-single-digit multiple based on projected sales for the year 2025.

The transaction is subject to customary conditions, including approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities, and is expected to be completed in the coming quarters. The group expects to acquire the remaining 25% minority stake in 2028.
