Amazon launches new Kindle in color

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, Amazon unveiled new versions of its Kindle digital e-reader, including a first color model of the device.


The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, which can be reserved from this Wednesday for delivery from October 30, will be priced at $279.99.

The American e-commerce giant also announced the launch of the Kindle Scribe, a device combining the functions of a book reader and digital notebook.

This will be available from December 4, priced from $399.99.

The group also presented a larger, seven-inch version of the Kindle Paperwhite, its fastest e-reader, which will now feature 16 GB of storage capacity - the equivalent of thousands of books - at prices ranging from $159.99 to $189.99.

The Kindle's entry-level model will now be offered in a lighter 158g version and in a matcha green tea color, with prices starting at $109.99.
