Fnac Darty: EU approves acquisition of France Billet

(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of France Billet by Fnac Darty Participations et Services, both based in France, and CTS Eventim, based in Germany.


The transaction mainly concerns the entertainment and ticketing sectors.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on competition in the markets where the companies are active.

The notified transaction was examined under the normal merger control procedure.
