AstraZeneca: presents new data at IDWeek

(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca will share new data on its entire portfolio of vaccines and immunotherapies at the 13th annual IDWeek in Los Angeles, California, from 16 to 19 October 2024.


The Company will highlight its progress in developing new vaccines against infectious diseases.

Iskra Reic, AstraZeneca's executive vice president of vaccines and immunotherapies, said: 'The data presented at IDWeek demonstrate our commitment to tackling the impact of infectious diseases, including our progress in developing our vaccine and antibody candidates against viral and bacterial pathogens, including IVX-A12, the first potential RSV/hrMP vaccine combination, and AZD5148.'

IVX-A12's progress builds on our scientific leadership in RSV, with data presented on Beyfortus demonstrating how, in its first season, it has had a significant impact with millions more children expected to benefit this season.
