UnitedHealth: tightens down EPS target range
(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly earnings call, UnitedHealth Group said it expects adjusted EPS of $27.
50 to $27.75, a target range that has been narrowed down from the $27.50 to $28 range established almost a year ago.
The insurance and health services group posted Q3 adjusted EPS of $7.15, with adjusted business profit of $9bn, excluding direct response costs to the cyberattack on Change HealthCare.
Revenues rose 9% to $100.8bn, supported by vigorous growth in the number of people served at both UnitedHealthCare and Optum.
