Ipsen: second site wins Shingo award

(CercleFinance.com) - Ipsen announces that its production site in Dublin, Ireland, has been awarded the Shingo Prize for operational excellence.
Nearly 200 people work at the site, which produces the active ingredients for two of the group's drugs.

Following the award given to the Signes site in France in 2020, this is the second Shingo prize awarded to Ipsen, making it the first pharmaceutical company in the world to have received this award for two sites producing drugs for patients.

The Shingo Prize is awarded annually to up to five companies from all sectors, 'capable of demonstrating a high culture where the principles of operational excellence are deeply embedded in the thinking and behavior of all staff'.
