Novo Nordisk: two million shares bought back since August

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of its share buyback program launched on 7 August, Novo Nordisk has repurchased nearly 2.
07 million B shares as of 11 October, for a total transaction value of 1.8bn DKK (c. E240m).

The Danish pharmaceutical company, which specializes in diabetes and obesity-related diseases, plans to repurchase 2.4bn DKK worth of its own shares between 7 August and 4 November.

These repurchases are part of a wider plan to buy back 20bn DKK worth of shares over 12 months, starting on 6 February. To date, it has repurchased over 13.1 million B shares for a total exceeding 11.5bn DKK.
