GSK: positive results in chronic sinusitis

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, GSK reported positive results from two Phase III trials for the treatment of chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps.


The British pharmaceutical company said that both trials met their primary endpoints, which were to measure the evolution of nasal polyposis and nasal obstruction over one year in patients treated with its depemokimab.

The group says it plans to unveil the detailed results of these tests at upcoming medical congresses.

With these findings, in addition to those recently obtained in the treatment of asthma, GSK says it intends to file future applications for registration of this long-acting drug, which is administered every six months.
