Valeo: new version of VSS 360 at Paris Motor Show

(CercleFinance.com) - At the Paris Motor Show 2024, Valeo and HERE Technologies announce the presentation, for the first time, of a new version of the Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS 360) system integrating a piloted navigation function (NOP).


The VSS 360 turnkey driver assistance system (ADAS) enables automakers to offer safety and parking assistance functions from entry-level models, with limited impact on vehicle architecture.

Its new NOP function is based on a high-definition mapping, navigation and services solution for connected vehicles - combined with a turnkey or customizable SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution - supplied by HERE.

The NOP function includes longitudinal and lateral vehicle control, and automatic lane change assistance helps with automatic overtaking and motorway links in addition to other roadside assistance functions.
