Roche: climate targets submitted to SBTi

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche says it has submitted greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), as part of its ongoing sustainability efforts and commitment to tackling climate change.


Having achieved an absolute 67% reduction in its carbon emissions (Scope 1 and 2) since 2024, the Swiss healthcare group has expanded its carbon emissions reduction strategy to include both short- and long-term targets.

These targets aim to reduce GHG emissions across its entire business (Scope 1 and 2) and throughout its upstream and downstream value chain (Scope 3), as well as to achieve net zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2045.
