GSK: series of presentations expected at IDWeek

(CercleFinance.com) - GSK announces that, alongside its HIV care business ViiV Healthcare, it will present new data on its vaccines and treatments at the IDWeek 2024 annual meeting in Los Angeles, 16-19 October.


60 abstracts will be shared, covering infectious diseases such as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), shingles, simple urinary tract infections and HIV.

In particular, GSK will present data on its vaccines Arexvy (RSV) and Shingrix (shingles), as well as its meningitis vaccine candidate ABCWY.

On the treatment front, GSK will present results on gepotidacin, a first-in-class oral antibiotic for urinary tract infections and gonorrhea.

ViiV Healthcare will highlight data on HIV PrEP, with presentations on the efficacy of cabotegravir.
