Airbus: exploring helicopter/drone complementarity

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters and its partners have carried out a large-scale demonstration of a collaboration system between piloted helicopters and drones (MUM-T), as part of the European MUSHER project.


The exercise, conducted in France and Italy, involved helicopters and UAVs connected to a single network. The system is designed to improve real-time decision-making and optimize resources.

Airbus, Leonardo, Thales and other partners tested various scenarios, demonstrating the interoperability between aircraft from different countries.
The EU-funded MUSHER project aims to develop a MUM-T system for civil and military use.
