ABB: supplies electric winches to Eti Bakir, Turkey

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces a contract with Eti Bakir A.
s., Turkey's largest copper producer, to supply two mine hoists for a new underground copper mine in Elazig.

This partnership aims to support the sustainable transformation of the mining industry.

Scheduled to be fully operational in three years' time, the mine will enable Eti Bakir to increase its copper cathode production by almost 30%, to 90,000 tonnes.

ABB will supply hoists using high-efficiency electric motors, minimizing energy consumption.
