Unilever: sells Russian subsidiary to Arnest Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Unilever announces the sale of its Russian subsidiary to the Arnest Group, a Russian manufacturer of perfumes, cosmetics and household products.


The transaction includes all Unilever's activities in Russia and its four factories in the country, as well as its activities in Belarus.

Unilever said that the sale's completion marked the end of Unilever's presence in Russia.

The process involved the separation of IT platforms and supply chains, and the migration of brands to Cyrillic.

The terms of the agreement remain confidential.
