SES: extends partnership with Sky

(CercleFinance.com) - SES announces an extension of its partnership with Sky, with the renewal of a multi-year contract for satellite capacity until 2029 and back-up services until the end of 2027, from its prime video neighborhood at 28.
2/28.5 degrees East.

The satellite operator will thus continue to enable the British TV group to offer satellite channel packages to its Sky Q subscribers across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

SES satellites at the 28.2/28.5 degrees East orbital position bring a wide range of channels to more than 17 million TV households in Great Britain and Ireland, the Luxembourg-based group said.
