Dassault Aviation: launches combat drone

(CercleFinance.com) - Sébastien Lecornu, Minister of the French Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, has announced the launch of development of the combat drone that will complement the Rafale's future F5 standard (post-2030).


The announcement was made at a ceremony celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Strategic Air Forces (FAS), at the Saint-Dizier air base.

This stealth combat drone, in conjunction with the Rafale F5, will contribute to the technological and operational superiority of French wings from 2033 onwards, Dassault Aviation said.
