GTT: tank design order for two LNG carriers

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announces that it has received an order from its partner, the Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries, to design the tanks for two new LNG carriers, on behalf of an Asian shipowner.


GTT will design the tanks for these two LNG carriers, each with a total capacity of 174,000 m3, and will integrate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.

The ships are scheduled for delivery between the first and second quarters of 2027.
