Crédit Agricole: Jefferies raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies has confirmed its 'buy' recommendation on Crédit Agricole shares, with its target price raised from E21.
6 to E23.4, on the assumption that the banking group's EPS will average 15% above consensus over 2024-26.
Crédit Agricole remains our top choice among French names, given its earnings upside potential, particularly in asset gathering activities, which we believe is overlooked by consensus, the broker summarises.
Jefferies still believes that Crédit Agricole can deliver above-consensus earnings and a sustainable RoTE above the sector, with areas such as insurance, asset management and wealth management generating results.
