Saint-Gobain: PPA contract signed with TotalEnergies

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies announces that it has signed a renewable electricity sales contract (PPA) with Saint-Gobain, providing for the continuous supply of electricity to power the building materials group's industrial sites in France.


The energy group will provide Saint-Gobain with a continuous and constant volume of electricity over the delivery period, combined with certificates of origin in equivalent quantities, linked to the production of its wind or solar farms in France.

This contract will take effect in January 2026, for a total volume of 875 GWh over five years. It comes in addition to a previous contract, signed in June 2023, for the sale to Saint-Gobain of biomethane produced by TotalEnergies from its BioBéarn site.
