PepsiCo: Q3 EPS up 5%
(CercleFinance.com) - PepsiCo, the operator of the Pepsi, Lays and Quaker brands, reports core EPS of $2.
31 for Q3 2024, up 5% at constant exchange rates, on revenues of $23.3bn, with organic growth of 1.3%. NB: pmt -0.6%
The food group says that it suffered from lackluster performance in some categories and product recalls at Quaker in North America, but also from growing geopolitical tensions in some international markets.
Management said that vigorous cost controls helped our profitability, while we made additional investments to improve our competitiveness in the market.
PepsiCo confirms its full-year target of at least 8% core EPS growth at constant exchange rates, but now only expects organic revenue growth in the low single-digit range (instead of around 4%).
