Vodafone: strengthens strategic partnership with Google

(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone and Google have announced a 10-year strategic expansion of their existing partnership to bring new services, devices and TV experiences to millions of Vodafone customers across Europe and Africa, supported by Google Cloud and Google's Gemini models.


The agreement will bring AI storage, security and support to Vodafone customers in 15 countries, as well as to its partners in 45 additional markets worldwide, while Google will use Vodafone's fixed and mobile connectivity services to improve workforce productivity.

Vodafone said that, together, Vodafone and Google will put new AI-powered content and services in the hands of millions more consumers. Through these services, our customers will be able to discover new ways of learning, creating and communicating, as well as consuming television, on a scale never seen before.

Meanwhile, Google (Alphabet) said that its expanded partnership with Vodafone will bring its most advanced AI products and services, including its Gemini models, to more people across Europe and Africa.
