Eni: commissions wind farms in Spain

(CercleFinance.com) - Plenitude announces the start of operations at the Numancia wind farms in Almarza (Soria, Spain).


The 10-hectare project comprises three Vestas V136 wind turbines with an installed capacity of around 13 MW, and an estimated output of 31 GWh per year, enough to supply over 9,500 homes.

The wind farm incorporates bird passage detection systems and an environmental monitoring plan to ensure its integration into the surrounding area.

With this operation, Plenitude manages over 440 MW of installed capacity in Spain, and is developing new projects totalling around 1 GW in various regions, as well as over 2 GW of additional capacity in various phases of development.

The company, controlled by Eni, aims to reach 11.5 million customers and 8 GW of renewable capacity by 2027.
