Nestlé: power purchase agreement with Boralex

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé France has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Boralex, France's leading renewable energy company, to supply 20% of its annual renewable electricity needs for 15 years.


This contract, one of the first in France to combine wind (85%) and solar (15%) power, will see the construction of two wind farms and a photovoltaic power plant between 2024 and 2026.

This agreement supports Nestlé's objective of halving its CO2 emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

Boralex thus reinforces its strategic plan by developing solutions for companies that consume green energy.
