Siemens: acquires Danfoss Fire Safety

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Smart Infrastructure announces the acquisition of Danfoss Fire Safety, a subsidiary of the Danish Danfoss Group, specialising in fire suppression technology.


This acquisition will strengthen Siemens' offering in sustainable fire safety, in particular through its non-polluting high-pressure water misting technology.

Danfoss Fire Safety will be integrated into Siemens' Buildings business unit.

Susanne Seitz, Managing Director of this unit, emphasizes that this acquisition will enable Siemens to meet growing needs in sectors such as data centers and tunnels.

The transaction is due to be completed by the end of 2024.
