Airbus: two H175 helicopters commissioned in Australia

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the official entry into service of two H175 helicopters with PHI Aviation in Australia, to support its offshore energy transport, search and rescue and medical evacuation operations.


The H175 helicopter offers superior performance, payload capacity and range, making it ideal for long-haul transport over the vast distances of Western Australia, Airbus says.

A world leader in helicopter transport services, PHI operates bases in Broome, Darwin and Exmouth, Australia. The new helicopters will be based in Broome, with further H175s expected to join its fleet in the coming months.
