Holcim: acquires OX Engineered Products

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim says it has signed an agreement to acquire OX Engineered Products, a US supplier of advanced insulation systems for residential and commercial applications, with sales of $136m in 2024e.


With plants in the Midwest and Southeast US, the company is a preferred supplier of high-quality solutions to the country's largest homebuilders, the Swiss building materials group points out.

Thanks to OX's complementary technologies, Holcim will offer an expanded range of building envelope solutions for residential and commercial applications to meet the needs of its North American customers.

Subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024. According to Holcim, it will be highly synergistic and EPS accretive from the first year.
