Atos: Confirmatory offer from the French government expires
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that the French State's non-binding confirmatory offer for the potential acquisition of the Advanced Computing, Mission-Critical Systems and Cybersecurity Products businesses of BDS expired on October 4, without agreement between the parties.
The Group has nevertheless offered to continue discussions and has sent the French State a new proposal compatible with the financial restructuring plan. An announcement will be made should these discussions be successful.
In addition, in accordance with the commitments made by Atos, the implementation of a preference share in Bull SA is continuing in order to preserve the sovereign interests of the French State, with the aim of implementing it by the end of the year.
As a reminder, the financial restructuring plan voted by the classes of parties affected on September 27 includes the preservation of these activities within the Group. The expiry of the offer therefore has no impact on the current financial restructuring process.
