URW: Xavier Niel leaves supervisory board

(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) reports that Xavier Niel has decided, following his appointment to the Board of Directors of ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, to resign from URW's Supervisory Board effective October 4.


Accordingly, the Supervisory Board, on the recommendation of Xavier Niel and his Governance, Nomination and Remuneration Committee (CGNR), has decided to co-opt Michael Boukobza for the remainder of his term as Board member.

Michael Boukobza has 25 years' expertise in entrepreneurship and cost optimization, mainly in telecommunications, innovation and digital development, as well as in the press industry", emphasizes the real estate group.

This appointment of Michael Boukobza as a non-independent member of the Supervisory Board, as well as a member of the CGNR, with immediate effect, will be subject to ratification by URW's next general shareholders' meeting.
