GE Vernova: awarded contract by US Navy

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces that its Power Conversion business has been awarded a contract to develop and deliver a Propulsion Load System (PLS) for the US Navy's shore-based test facilities.


This system will test the performance and reliability of propulsion systems on new ships prior to their deployment at sea.

The contract includes the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of two PLS units over three years, at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia.

These systems will simulate real-life conditions to reduce technical risks, accelerate development times and train crews.
