Renault: presents its dual-energy 'Emblem' vehicle

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault presents 'Emblem', a demo vehicle that embodies its vision of decarbonized mobility, with a goal of net zero carbon by 2040 in Europe and 2050 worldwide.


Designed to reduce CO2 emissions by 90% compared with current models, this family vehicle adopts a decarbonizing approach throughout its life cycle.

The Renault Emblem, a 4.80-meter shooting brake, combines elegance and aerodynamics. Its 100% electric motorization is based on a "dual-energy" system, combining a 40 kWh battery for everyday use and a hydrogen fuel cell for long-distance travel.

The model will be on display at the Mondial de l'Auto 2024 in Paris, where Ampere will showcase the technologies enabling this level of decarbonization.
