Emeis: net loss reduced in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - emeis reports a net loss attributable to the group of E257m for H1 2024, compared with a loss of E371m a year earlier, with fairly flat EBITDAR (+0.
8%) at E339m, down one point to 12.2%.
At E2.77bn, the dependency care group's sales rose by 9.2% (+8.9% organic), including increases of 11.6% for retirement homes and 5.1% for clinics.
This performance was driven by a +2.6 point improvement in the average occupancy rate and a +5.5% price effect, which improved across all our businesses and all geographical regions, it explains.
emeis confirms that it expects EBITDAR for 2024 to rise by 0 to +5%, i.e. between E700m and E730m, and now aims to accelerate its real estate and operating asset disposals to reach E1.5bn between mid-2022 and end-2025.
