Vinci: wins highway contract in Canada
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Construction has won a contract to upgrade and widen a 4.
5 km section of Highway 1 in the Canadian province of British Columbia, as part of a consortium.
The project, worth a total of E62m (94m Canadian dollars), is part of a program to improve the Fraser Valley highway corridor, 70 km from Vancouver, and is scheduled for substantial completion in the summer of 2027.
Accompanied by environmental measures, it includes widening the highway with new carpool and bus lanes, building two new bridges and renovating a rest area.
