LVMH: investment in alcohol-free sparkling wines
(CercleFinance.com) - Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of the LVMH group, announced on Tuesday evening that it had made a strategic investment in French Bloom, a producer of alcohol-free sparkling wines.
Created in 2021 by two long-time friends, Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, French Bloom has developed - after several years of R&D - a vinification and dealcoholisation process using French chardonnay and pinot noir grapes.
This alliance reflects the shared vision of Moët Hennessy and French Bloom to build together the future of alcohol-free sparkling wines, says Moët Hennessy, which has taken a minority stake in the company.
French Bloom, which has already been distributed in over 30 countries in less than three years, is headed by Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger's husband, who holds the position of CEO.
He emphasizes that Moët Hennessy's support should enable his company to accelerate its development in the rapidly developing 0.0% alcohol sparkling wine category.
