BAE Systems: new software development unit available

(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems announces that the RAD510 Software Development Unit (SDU) is now available to the space community.


This SDU facilitates the transition from the RAD750 to the new RAD510 Single Board Computer (SBC), offering three times the performance.

At the same time, the RAD510 SDU enables users to develop and test their applications, reducing risk.

The RAD510 will be compatible with RAD750 and RAD5545 SBC software. Joe Dziezynski, Director of Space Systems at BAE Systems, says the RAD510 offers a reliable, radiation-hardened solution with lower power consumption.

Qualification of the RAD510 SBC is scheduled for completion in 2026.
