Manitou: construction begins on a new plant

(CercleFinance.com) - Manitou Group has announced the start of construction of a new mechanical welding plant, close to its two aerial platform assembly sites in Candé (Maine-et-Loire), covering 74,000 m² and 20,000 m² of industrial buildings.


This 60 million euro investment is part of an overall development plan for the group's industrial sites, and will enable it to internalize an important stage in the manufacture of aerial work platforms.

The new industrial tool will help Manitou to respond to structural market growth in Europe as well as internationally, notably in the United States. Work will take until the end of 2025, with production starting up in early summer 2026.
