Lagardère: sale of Paris Match to LVMH finalized

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère and LVMH announce the completion of the sale of Paris Match to the luxury group, a transaction carried out under the previously announced conditions, 'opening a new page in the history' of the weekly founded in March 1949.


By joining the ranks of the prestigious houses of the LVMH group, Paris Match will benefit from a solid platform to innovate and pursue its development and diversification, in both print and digital," they explain.

The new company will be chaired by Jean-Jacques Guiony, CFO of the LVMH group. Pierre-Emmanuel Ferrand will become Managing Director of Paris Match, while Jérôme Béglé will remain as Editorial Director.
