Nokia: launch of 'Lightspan MF-8' fiber solution

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces the launch of 'Lightspan MF-8', a new fiber solution capable of delivering 10/25/50 G and, eventually, 100 G PON services.


Designed for medium-sized deployments, the MF-8 offers unrivalled capacity, 'six-nine' (i.e. 99.9999%) reliability and sub-millisecond latency, making this solution 'ideal for residential services and mission-critical applications related to Industry 4.0.', according to Nokia.

Based on the Quillion chipset, this solution will meet the growing demand for broadband services, with flexible deployment.

The MF-8 will be presented at the Network X convention in Paris, October 8-10.
