Heineken: renewal of CFO proposed

(CercleFinance.com) - Heineken's Supervisory Board announced on Tuesday that it would propose the reappointment of Harold van den Broek, the company's current CFO, for a further four years.

Harold van den Broek's reappointment will be put to a vote by the Dutch brewer's shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting, scheduled for April 2025.

In a statement, Jean-Marc Huët, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, praised the work accomplished by Harold van den Broek since his appointment as CFO three years ago.

Under his leadership, Heineken has significantly increased its sales and operating profit, implemented a substantial savings program and accelerated its transformation process, despite the characteristic volatility of the global environment", he recalls.

Harold van den Broek, 57, began his career with Unilever in 1991 before joining Reckitt Benckiser in 2014, where he became CFO of the hygiene products division.

He joined the management team as CFO in June 2021.

Following this announcement, Heineken shares listed on Euronext Amsterdam fell slightly on Tuesday morning (-0.8%), compared with a gain of 0.4% for the AEX index.
