Crédit Agricole: launch of a share buyback program

(CercleFinance.com) - Having received all the necessary authorizations, Crédit Agricole has announced the launch of a share buyback program for up to 15,128,677 ordinary shares, starting on October 1 and ending on November 29 at the latest.


The banking group specifies that the shares acquired under the program will be cancelled, as the operation is intended to offset the dilutive effect of the 2024 capital increase reserved for employees.

It has given an irrevocable instruction to an independent investment services provider concerning this operation. The existing liquidity contract with Kepler Cheuvreux will be temporarily suspended during the execution of the program.
