Honeywell completes acquisition of Air Products' LNG business

(CercleFinance.com) - Honeywell announced on Monday that it had completed the acquisition of Air Products' liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies and equipment business for $1.
81 billion.

In a press release, the American industrial conglomerate points out that the transaction, which was initially announced in July, will be financed entirely in cash.

With this transaction, Honeywell believes it will be able to strengthen its offering in the field of energy transition for its customers, by proposing a complete portfolio ranging from gas pre-treatment (before liquefaction) to automation technologies.

The scope of the acquisition also includes the Coil Heat Exchanger (CWHE) technology developed by Air Products.

Under the terms of the acquisition, some 475 Air Products employees will join the company's workforce.
