Siemens: contract with Beacon for the purchase of locomotives

(CercleFinance.com) - Beacon and Siemens Mobility have signed a major framework agreement for the supply of Vectron multi-system locomotives, with an initial contract for 25 units.


The new 6.4 MW Vectron locomotives will complement Beacon's existing fleet.

With this new order, Beacon increases its Vectron fleet in continental Europe to over 180 locomotives.

These locomotives will be produced at the Siemens Mobility plant in Munich-Allach.
