Bouygues: the EU authorizes the creation of a joint venture

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the creation of a joint venture by Egis Aiport Operation, Egis Investment Partners Bouygues Construction Airport Concessions, all three based in France and Impact based in Luxembourg.


The transaction mainly concerns the airport management and operation sector, in particular, passenger transport by bus between Beauvais-Tillé airport and Paris.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies involved as a result of the proposed transaction.
