Alten: EU approves acquisition of Worldgrid France

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of sole control of Worldgrid France and other entities and assets constituting the Worldgrid intelligent energy solutions business segment (Worldgrid), based in Belgium, France, Germany, Morocco, Spain and the UK, by Alten, based in France.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies involved as a result of the proposed transaction.
