Bouygues: AI assistant launched by Bouygues Telecom

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, announced on Monday the launch of a conversational sales assistant powered by Google's generative AI.


On the bouyguestelecom.fr website, users will be able to choose their phone, package and financing method thanks to the advice of an intelligent robot powered by AI.

Developed by the operator's own teams, this new conversational agent, based on Google's Gemini large language model (LLM), is expected to pave the way for the future of conversational e-commerce, explains Bouygues Telecom.

This assistant is intended to complement Bouygues Telecom's existing online sales channels, which range from putting customers in touch with a sales advisor by telephone, with a callback, or by chat.

During its launch phase, this tool will take over from sales advisors from 9pm to 8am on weekdays, a time slot that currently accounts for almost 15% of overall traffic.
